Experiential Learning

Experiential Learning is kind of self-awareness that may leads to change : being observant and reflective
The diagram shows four main stages of experiential learning:
1.Concrete Experience
This stage refers to the “Feeling” where one is directly experiencing or doing something by emphasizing that this is about “Doing/Having an experience.”
2.Reflective Observation
This stage refers to the “Watching”, described as “reviewing/reflecting on the experience.”
3.Abstract Conceptualization
This stage refers to the “Thinking”, where one is “Concluding/learning from the experience” where students begin to construct their own first-hand knowledge and become designers of their learning.
4.Active Experimentation
This stage refers to the “Doing”, involving “planning/trying out what you have learned.”
This cycle represents a comprehensive approach to learning through experience, reflection, conceptualization, and active application, with specific guidance for both learners and teachers at each stage.
