Way of Learning

Roong Aroon International School is authorised to provide the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s Middle Years Programme (IB-MYP) for Grades 6 to 10. To provide a wide range of opportunities for future undergraduate success, we offer three pathways for Grades 11 and 12: the Career-related Programme (IB-CP), the Diploma Programme (IB-DP), and the School Diploma Programme. Each programme is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for their next academic journey and beyond.

In reviewing different international programs and curricula, the International Baccalaureate Programme stood out for its many similar goals and practices, such as holistic learning, inquiry-based learning, and the development of attributes and skills. These similarities and overlaps are highlighted throughout this curriculum.

After completing the Middle Years Programme, we offer three pathways to university for Grade 11 and Grade 12. Each programme is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for their next academic journey and beyond by offering the IBDP and IBCP. Both programmes provide an excellent academic development over grades 11 and 12 These programmes provide academic rigor through inquiry-based learning, project-based assessments, and hands-on experiences aligned with our school’s ethos. The IBDP and IBCP not only prepare students for university with challenging coursework but also equip them with essential life skills, fostering both personal growth and academic success. We also offer a High School Diploma, which is awarded upon fulfilling all graduation requirements.
