IB Diploma Programme
Grades 11-12

Students are required to study six subjects that they can select from six subject groups.The students are mandated to complete the curriculum core comprising Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) concurrently over two years. The programme is designed to equip students with the basic academic skills needed for university study, further education and their chosen profession. Additionally, the programme supports the development of the values and life skills needed to live a fulfilled and purposeful life.

Besides preparing the students academically with the rigorous DP courses, the benefits of the IB-DP are manifold and include:
- Students develop a Global Perspective.
- Students will learn to demonstrate high levels of resilience and flexibility in their learning approach whilst growing in self-confidence and self-awareness through the study of the demanding DP curriculum.
- The strenuous DP assessments and DP Core requirements will develop in students the skills of time management and enhanced capability to solve problems aimed at the determination to succeed.
- Students will be provided with opportunities to engage with Interdisciplinary Learning.
- Students will be provided with opportunities to improve their writing skills, and Communication Skills and enhance their Research Skills by their engagement with the DP Core- Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), Extended Essay (EE) and Internal Assessments (IA).
DP Subjects
The DP courses comprises six subject groups. The six subject groups include:
- Group 1: Language and Literature
- Group 2: Language Acquisition
- Group 3: Individuals and Societies
- Group 4: Sciences
- Group 5: Mathematics
- Group 6: The Arts
